How to use a pendulum?

Below you'll find instructions on how to start using a pendulum to receive answers to your soul's deepest questions.

• Before first use, energetically cleanse the pendulum. You can use incense for this.
• Step away from any distractions that might influence the answers. Take a few moments to settle and connect with yourself, the spiritual world, and through that, with the pendulum.
• Hold the end of the pendulum between your thumb and index finger and keep it suspended in the air. You may gently hold your other hand beneath it, but the pendulum itself must remain in the air.
• First, ask the pendulum to show you what "YES" and "NO" look like. Ask it: "Show me YES," and "Show me NO." Observe the movement — YES or NO may be a back-and-forth swing, a side-to-side swing, or a clockwise/counter-clockwise rotation.
• If you wish, you can ask the pendulum a few "test" questions to check whether the connection has been established.
• Ask the questions you want answered. Keep them framed so they can be answered with YES/NO.
• When you're done, thank the pendulum for its help, cleanse it again, and store it somewhere safe.
